Tim Carson, Certified EFT Practitioner

Tim CarsonTim Carson is an ordained Christian minister who has practiced pastoral counseling and the spiritual healing arts for over thirty years. As an experienced pastor who holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology (D.Min, Eden Theological Seminary) he has accompanied many persons through a broad array of life transitions and struggles. Tim is interfaith fluent and works with people from all religious traditions and none, including those who consider themselves spiritual but not necessarily religious.

EFT is a healing modality that is complimentary to his own understanding of the mind-body-spirit matrix. Tapping into this rich power releases the natural healing properties. Tim practices EFT to address emotional duress and past trauma, life transitions, phobias, painful memories, self-limiting narratives, grief, and spiritual growth.

A special area of focus includes working with combat veterans struggling with PTSD and moral injury. For a remarkable endorsement see Senator Tim Ryan’s encouragement to the military establishment to study and utilize EFT for PTSD: Tim Ryan Letter 2013

Tim is also a certified Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner. Matrix work is an advanced specialty of EFT. It recognizes that our energetic past selves and memories continue to exist and operate on the subconscious level or, put differently, in the energetic field in which all of our lives exist. Matrix work is especially effective with such highly charged issues as trauma, pain, illness, anxiety, depression, phobias and addictions.

“EFT has greatly improved my quality of life and work and has given me a deeper acceptance of my emotions. I can’t think of a better person to bring this profound healing method than Tim Carson.”

“I served in the Army as an Infantryman, and spent two combat tours in Iraq. On May 19, 2009, the vehicle I was riding in was hit by a roadside bomb while on routine patrol. The blast resulted in the amputation of both my legs. I was completely broken when I awoke at the military hospital, physically and emotionally. My physical therapy went well. I am able to walk daily with prosthetics after 18 months of rehabilitation. I continued to have a lot of anger, depression, and insecurity. My emotional state had not improved since the injury so I started looking for resources to address my post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and grief.

I learned how Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT, can be complimentary therapy for treating post-traumatic stress and moral injury. I was skeptical of EFT as a healing module at first, but wanted to try it because the other techniques and counseling I was using seemed ineffective. I began a one hour per week counseling session with Tim Carson, a certified EFT practitioner. We began to see results immediately even though I doubted the program. After two sessions I began to buy into the EFT healing module. I can look back now and say I am convinced that EFT was highly effective for me in treating PTSD, grief, and moral injury.”

I am thankful Tim suggested teaching me EFT to handle my anxiety. I think it is wonderful. I love that it requires no special equipment, no appointments, and no medicine. I can do it any time, any place, and for any situation that causes me pain. I am thankful there are elementary schools teaching it to their students.
